Framingham’s senior captain Ben Groleau set a Bay State Conference all-time boys track record in the indoor mile by clocking 4:21.74 last night during a 50-45 Flyers loss to Brookline at the Reggie Lewis Center.
In his first time running the 300 meters in competition, Groleau also finished runner-up to teammate and senior captain Bo Lewis with a state-qualifying time of 38.58. It’s the fifth event that Groleau has posted a state-qualifying time in this season.
Bo Lewis finished first in three events overall, also winning the long jump (18 feet, 7 inches) and the 55-meter dash (7.04). He won the 300 in 36.60.
Senior captains Jake Devlin and Jesse Wing won the high jump (6-0) and 55 hurdles (8.4), respectively, for the Flyers.
