Flyers Varsity Boys Tie Weymouth 3-3

Playing on Weymouth’s home ice tonight, the Varsity Flyers added a tie to their record, 3-3.  Framingham‘s first goal was an unassisted beauty by Senior Captain Jake McKinnon.    Weymouth went ahead with just 21 seconds left in the first period.  In the second period, the Flyers made good use of fresh ice with a goal to tie it 2-2 – Sophomore Cory Gorovitz put the puck in net with the assistance of Ryder Lessing and Eric Libby.   Third period started like a shot with Weymouth scoring after only 11 seconds on the ice, making it 3 to 2.  Framingham proceeded to kill off penalties left over from the second period with an unassisted goal Jake McKinnon.  Junior goalie Casey Brigham served in net for all three periods.  The Flyers will on rival Natick in their first home game this coming Wednesday at Loring Arena.  Puck drops at 7:10 PM.  GO FLYERS!
