Playing against rival Weymouth last night at Loring Arena, the Varsity boys fell flat after the first period, departing for the locker room already three points behind. High hopes were in the air that the boys would take the “W” given they tied the Wildcats in their last match-up earlier this season 3-all. The team’s one goal was scored in the second period when Senior Captain Jake McKinnon worked to assist Sophomore Kevin Parker to “light the lamp” with a score. Weymouth scored two more goals within 38 seconds at the 6 minute mark in the third period. The team will take the ice again this Saturday as they host Norwood at 5 PM. GO FLYERS!
