Despite already having three wins after going winless last winter, the Framingham girls basketball team took a step backward on Friday night in a Bay State Conference loss to Needham, 56-43.

Junior guard Leah Douty scored 14 points and grabbed five rebounds for Framingham (2-0, 1-0 BSC), as the Flyers defeated Bay State Conference host Weymouth 39-27 on Friday night. Senior guard Sophia Corbitt scored 10 points for the Flyers.
