Griffin Moriarty
Griffin is Senior Captain Middle hitter. Griffin has been part of the varsity volleyball program for 2 years. Griffin is a wonderful leader who consistently demonstrates sportsman like behavior. This season he has scored 109 points on serve, 34 of those serves being an ace and 54 Kills. Though these numbers could be higher if he were playing his preferred position, Griffin willing took on the difficult and glory lacking middle hitting position because he agreed it would be better for the team. Griffin spends a great deal of time congratulating and encouraging his fellow teammates. According to his teammates Griffin “always gets pumped up when someone does something well.” “He keeps the team enthusiastic and focused.” “He works hard in the off season because he wants to do everything he can to help the team” He is a great leader for our 5 underclassmen to look up to.
